Move a License

A license must be released before it can be moved to a different computer. Once released, the license will no longer be valid on the host computer. If it is accidentally released, it can be restored.

If your computer has no internet connection, hold down the Shift and Windows keys while clicking the Activate button. Then choose the Block License tab to deactivate the license. Send us the Block code and we will deactivate the license on our server making it available for use on a different computer.

  3. While holding down the Shift and Windows key, click the Activate button

  6. We will send you an Unblock code.
  7. Repeat steps 1-3 and enter the Unblock code.

Reset a License

This function is not possible without prior authorization from Granite Bay Software.

When you first register GBDeflicker, it records a "request number" calculated from your computer's hardware/software configuration. Each time it runs, GBDeflicker recalculates the "request number" and compares it to the original. If it differs, it indicates you are trying to run the software on a different computer. Sometimes upgrading your OS can cause this error. Have you recently changed your computer configuration?

If so, please submit a request to have your serial number reset.

After we enable the Reset function for your license...

  1. Run GBDRegister
  2. Click the Product License button
  3. Click the Reset button to reset the license. This function sends a request to our license server over an internet connection. If your computer has no internet connection, hold down the Shift and OS keys while clicking the Activate button. Then choose the Reset License tab to reset the license.
